Water is a basic human necessity, yet millions in Pakistan still struggle to access clean drinking water. Aasra Welfare Society is committed to providing clean, safe, and accessible water to communities facing severe water shortages, particularly in remote and arid regions like Tharparkar, Balochistan, and other water-scarce areas.
Many underprivileged communities in Pakistan suffer from severe water scarcity, forcing people—especially women and children—to walk miles every day to fetch water, often from unsafe and contaminated sources. This leads to waterborne diseases, poor hygiene, and severe health risks, particularly for children.
