Bringing Safe & Clean Drinking Water to Underserved Areas in Pakistan
Water is a basic human necessity, yet millions in Pakistan still struggle to access clean drinking water. Aasra Welfare Society is committed to providing clean, safe, and accessible water to communities facing severe water shortages, particularly in remote and arid regions like Tharparkar, Balochistan, and other water-scarce areas.

The Water Crisis in Pakistan

Many underprivileged communities in Pakistan suffer from severe water scarcity, forcing people—especially women and children—to walk miles every day to fetch water, often from unsafe and contaminated sources. This leads to waterborne diseases, poor hygiene, and severe health risks, particularly for children.

Our Mission: Providing Safe Water for a Healthier Future

Aasra Welfare Society has launched the Clean Water Project to address this crisis by:

Installing Water Wells & Hand Pumps We build deep water wells and hand pumps in areas where people struggle to find clean water.
Providing Solar-Powered Water Systems In regions with extreme water scarcity, we set up solar-powered water filtration plants to ensure a long-term supply of safe drinking water.
Delivering Emergency Water Supplies We distribute clean drinking water to communities facing drought and acute water shortages.
Hygiene Awareness & Training We educate communities about safe water usage, sanitation, and hygiene to prevent diseases like diarrhea, cholera, and typhoid.
Partnering with Local Communities We work with local leaders and volunteers to ensure the sustainability of water solutions.

Tharparkar, Sindh A desert region where people walk for hours to fetch water from unsafe sources.
